"Cante", declared by UNESCO as part of its Intangible Cultural Heritage in November 2014, will be marked at this Meeting by the presentation of five Palmela’s residents "Cante" groups, one of them made up of children.

In October and November, FIMP will bring to Palmela several events characterized by the diversity of their proposals and covering different musical areas.

As part of the celebration of World Music Day – 1st October, the Town Council and the various structures of the associative movement of the county carry out a wide range of musical activities, demonstrating how rooted this art is throughout the territory.
